Suicide Bombers: Great Afghanistan Movement (GAM): The ultimate precision weapon and a “ smart bomb” the suicide bomber is , hard to deter and exasperatingly difficult to defeat. This is the poor mans nuke. For a few hundred dollars ( or less) and a human life , a suicide bomber can achieve strategic effects. The suicide bomber can dominate headlines around the world with a few pounds of explosives. The fanaticism finds outlet in shedding the blood not only of non believers , but also of coreligionists whose beliefs are seen as imperfect to these fanatics. A suicide bomber views himself ( more rarely herself) as fulfilling a divine mission whose execution will be rewarded in paradise. How can some one discourage an enemy who regards death as promotion. How can we stop a suicide bomber from killing the masses including himself. It is most difficult security mission. We need to prepare for the suicide bombers blitzkrieg. The suicide bomber imagines himself a defender of his threatened faith and humiliated people. It is difficult to understand the suicide bomber and it is much harder to defeat an enemy you don’t understand. Suicide bombers are recruited from the ranks of troubled souls, from those who find mundane reality overwhelming and terrifying. The suicide bombers longs for release from the insecurities of his daily experience. He is fleeing from life every bit as much as he is rushing toward paradise. Hypnotized by faith , he can walk into a childrens clinic and press a detonator. No heart-rending childs face will stop him. According to him , his God will forgive the innocent. We face enemies more dangerous. The Japanese kamikaze pilots flew bomb-laden planes into US Navy Ships in World War 11. But these kamikaze pilots were disciplined military men attacking military targets. They were not slaughtering the civilians but to stave off defeat. But todays suicide bombers are a new phenomenon. With their twin goals of self-annihilation and creating mass carnage , they have fundamentally shifted the battlefield;s rules and its location. There are two main different objectives of the suicide bombers: a). The terrorists exploit faith of suicide bombers to gain power. b). The Divine mission of suicide bombers whose execution will be rewarded in paradise But in case of Afghanistan these both objectives are amalgamated. Their leaders sitting in Pakistan supported by Pakistan inter services intelligence organization ISI are using these suicide bombers to gain power. Because Pakistan still believes that they will bring the Taliban into power like in 1996 after the withdrawal of US and NATO forces from Afghanistan. At the same time unaware of the hidden agenda of their leaders these suicide bombers are giving their lives for the sake of paradise. These leaders in Qutta shura are hostages of the ISI and these suicide bombers are hostages of these religious leaders. Has Pakistan the right to be on the world map any more to play with the lives of innocent people??? OF COURSE NOT. LONG LIVE GREAT AFGHANISTAN.
