Sunday, June 22nd swing shift log: Officers made several arrests and handled 35 calls for service including 3 juvenile issues, 4 noise complaints, 5 suspicious incidents and: A two-vehicle crash in the 600 block of East Seltice where a truck and passenger car collided. A theft complaint where victim alleged about 100 coins worth approximately $12,000 were taken from a garage by an unknown suspect. A citizen followed an erratic driver until Officers were able to stop the vehicle. The driver failed FSTs and was subsequently arrested for DUI and paraphernalia. A male advised he had received a call from his daughter at Black Bay Park who stated she was being verbally abused by two juveniles. The male responded to the park and got into a verbal exchange with the two juveniles that eventually turned physical. A bystander stepped in and de-escalated the situation and the male was taken into custody for battery. (JO)
