Sunday was a nice day with mostly new friends. I helped with a princess puzzle and we made a traditional seasonal dessert called natilla. very appreciative of the hospitality i was shown and all the laughs involving innuendos and other things :) advice - If you go to a food event, take an extra shirt, because if you get stuck making natilla or sancocho(special soup) outside, you will smell terrible from smoke afterwards. natilla is usually made inside on the stove but this was a special occasion with lots of nutilla needed. sancocho is always outside, but you are not near the fire as much. the nutilla needs to be constantly stirred or it sticks to the bottom and burns.
