Suspects apprehended after pursuit from Kentucky Both suspects have been apprehended after the Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office assisted Oak Grove Police Department with a vehicle pursuit that ended in the county. Oak Grove police had been pursuing the men for burglary and after they fired shots at their officers. The vehicle pursuit ended behind a home shortly after midnight on Guthrie Highway. Around 5:30 a.m. on Interstate 24, deputies found James Lark, 27, who gave a Nashville, Tennessee address. He faces a public intoxication charge here and is being held in the Montgomery County Jail awaiting extradition. Around 11:30 a.m., a deputy patrolling the area spotted the second suspect in a field and took him into custody. Branden Lane, 23, of Nashville was taken to Gateway Medical Center to be treated for being outside in the cold temperatures all night and later booked into the Montgomery County Jail. He awaits extradition.
