Suspicious Death Investigation We continue to investigate the suspicious death of a woman who was discovered yesterday. On Saturday, July 26, 2014, officers were approached by an individual in the 2800 block of 14 Ave. S.E., who was concerned for the welfare of a neighbour. Inside the unit, officers found a deceased woman, possibly in her 40s. An investigator from the Office of the Chief Medical Examiner attended, and the death was deemed suspicious. Because this is a suspicious death, the CPS Homicide Unit is investigating. Officers continue to speak to anyone who may have information about this incident. No charges are pending at this time.
