Swimming lessons! Really looking forward to getting the pool open and our new swimming lessons started. This year we are running the same after school term time courses that we always run! These will be on a Monday, Wednesday and Friday and run for 10 weeks. Beginners will be at 4pm (Children who cant yet swim 10 meters) Intermediates will be at 4.30pm (children who can swim between 10 and 50 meters). All lessons are taught to the ASA learn to swim Framework and are taught by Qualified instructors! (starting the 5th of May) For the more advanced swimmers we have Rookie Lifeguard. This will be on a Monday between 5-6pm (term time). This is aimed at children who want to learn lifesaving skills as well as the first steps into becoming a lifeguard. This season we are also starting a Skills Club! This is a swimming club that is aimed at improving peoples swimming technique and skills. People will need to be able to swim the 3 main strokes and 100 meters continuously. Its open to anyone above 8 years old and will be taught by qualified coaches! We will also be running crash courses during the school holidays and will have 1 2 1s available as usual!
