Swiss chard is great dark leafy green to incorporate into your diet. It is considered to be a powerhouse of nutrition as it is high in vitamins A, K and C, as well as a good source of magnesium, potassium, iron and dietary fiber. One cup of swiss chard has just 35 calories! We loved including swiss chard in our winter soup this past weekend along with eggplant, yellow squash and Cannellini beans. So delicious!
