Switzerland is a full fledged democracy while Freedom House judged Singapore as partially free. We are a partial democracy. That’s because our ruling party has ruthlessly crushed the opposition. But while the PAP might be ruthless in its obtaining and maintaining power, its policies are broadly correct. How do you think we became one of the richest countries in the world.
