Switzerland is voting on a maximum salary, which would stipulate - TopicsExpress

Switzerland is voting on a maximum salary, which would stipulate that an executive may not make more than 12 times what the lowest paid worker in his company makes. Immediately Im seized by all the ways this could possibly go wrong - hard work not being rewarded, businesses leaving, businesses outsourcing their lowest paid jobs to raise that bottom number... But then I thought outside the box: imagine a world where, if the company does well, every employee of that company benefits. Imagine what would happen if the entire company was able to ride that wave of success, and in order to make more, an executive had to ensure that employees under him also had a share of those profits. Its an interesting idea and not without merit.
