T E M P E R S - European Tour Announced w/ Debut UK Shows Halfway between Factory and Wax Trax! - Pitchfork Royal Trux and Crystal Castles walk into a bar, get sloshed on absinthe and cross-pollinate: Tempers walk out - Drowned in Sound NYC-based duo Tempers are set to play their first ever UK shows in November as part of a massive European tour. The UK leg includes headline shows in Liverpool on the 23rd and London (a Free Entry show) on the 24th plus a Bristol date supporting Wolf Eyes and ERAAS on the 25th November. Coinciding with the tour is the release of Tempers track ‘Hell Hotline’, remixed by bEEdEEgEE (formerly Brian DeGraw of Gang Gang Dance). The duo’s dark, ice-cold electronica blends a sinister slow static disco with danceable beats, a hinting of pop sensibility imprisoned in an almost gothic, industrial soundscape. Their previous singles, ‘Eyes Wide Wider’ b/w ‘Hell Hotline’ produced by Damian Taylor (Bjork / Trust), ‘Strange Harvest’ and ‘Killing for Company’ (Swans cover) received coverage across the US and UK blogs including Pitchfork, Under the Radar, Nylon, Brooklyn Vegan, Drowned In Sound and RCD LBL.
