TAHA FOR BREZIDENT #TahaIbnOmEldonya — Overview — Hello ESA members, my name is Taha Mourad. I am running to be The next President of the Egyptian Student Association. My aim is to reflect the best of our beautiful Egypt and help the Egyptian student community to prosper within carleton university to the best of its abilities. — Experience — 2011-2012: founded the Egyptian student Association First Volunteer cordinater 2012-2013: Became the second VP Finance for the ESA 2013-2014: Current VP Finance for the ESA Current Vp Finance for HOLAS Current VP Finance for The International Current Vp Finans for CU SAM and I did internship off Campus for 8 months as Finance Manager Volunteered with: MSA (2011-Present) H.O.L.A.S (2011- Present) Salam (2011- Present) PSA (2013-Present) SSAO (2012-Present) Gentler and softer Hearts (2011-Present) In addition, I ran for VP finance for CUSA with over 1000 CU students votes. — Platform — Engaging carleton students, growing our volunteer base, and having them contribute to the development of the ESA. Hold weekly exec meetings and bi-weekly volunteers/members meetings so as to brainstorm ideas and regularly collect feedback while updating participants of the association’s mandate and activities. Integrate cultural performances for competitions and shows on and off campus. Membership package includes ESA merchandise( T-shirts, Key-chain….etc) and discounts at shops and restaurants. Collaborating with the Egyptian community such as ECCAO, Bridge to Baladi and ESA UO. Collaborating with other student associations on campus. — IN SIMPLE WORDZ — I will work hand in hand with all of you to paint the most magical sketch of our Egyptian culture in the eyes of everyone on campus and in Ottawa. This will happen through innovation, creativity, experience and hard work. Lets get to work. voting day — April 1st to 3rd, 2014
