TBM TRUMPET CALL 2014-01-23 “THE Spirit of the Lord God is upon me; because the LORD hath anointed me to preach the good tidings unto the meek; He hath sent me to bind up the brokenhearted, to proclaim liberty to the captives, and the opening of the prison to them that are bound;” ~ ISAIAH 61:1 ONLY THE TRUTH MAKES FREE {JOHN 8:32} Once upon a time, man had all the authority on this earth. Whatever he said happened. However, he was not aware of all that he possessed. Then the enemy of God showed up and suggested to man that things were not actually how he thought it was. By believing what was not true and obeying the suggestions of God’s enemy to rebel against God, all that man had was taken from him. It took God more than four thousand years of careful meticulous planning and execution to correct this transgression and to recover back the authority that was stolen from man. God did this recovery for the human race through Jesus Christ and with His blood. This is how powerful believing what is not true is. It gives power and authority to God’s enemy and reduces man who was created in God’s image into a slave. Our trust in God will bear fruit because, as it is written “By mercy and truth iniquity is purged: and by the fear of the LORD men depart from evil.” {Proverbs 16:6} Also we are given the godly counsel to; “Buy the truth, and sell it not; also wisdom, and instruction, and understanding.” {Proverbs 23:23} This shows us that truth has a strong affinity with wisdom and understanding; it must be bought, that is, sought. There is a new dawn; of honour and integrity, before God and before men, starting with the individual believer in Christ. This is the sort of heart that can receive the promised double portion. Whatever you do friend, even at the point of death, never ever believe what is not true. Search for the truth, hold on to it. Whether it is what you believe about God, yourself, your family, your work, marriage and its purpose, your boss at work, the government, eternity, what is and is not love, what is and is not grace, what is and is not faith, and anything whatsoever, ensure that it is the truth that you believe, follow and obey. This is what empowers God on our behalf and renders the enemies of God powerless. Any dark place is the enemy’s hiding place. God is light and that which makes manifest is light {Ephesians 5:13}. The ministry of the Spirit of truth is liberty {2 Corinthians 3:17}. Have a blessed day.
