TBT (but not really that far back). These are photos from our Beach/Tidewater visit to my parents for the 4th of July holiday. But I hadnt posted them yet. I had so many meaningful moments during that wknd. This batch is one of my faves. EVERY time were home, my husband casually strikes up a conversation with my dad...that inevitably spirals into hours of amazing dialogue & bible-based guidance. I love that my husband values my daddys wisdom. I love that my daddy is never too busy to share his heart with us. Today weve had to make several GI-NORMOUS and difficult decisions for the law firm, and we declined the largest revenue-making opportunity to-date. It was tough, but when Wardell began to quote scriptures from his chats with my dad (AND my mom); we were in agreement...this deal isnt a good fit, so were passing. God doesnt give blessings tangled in confusion or questionable legalities.
