#TBT this was me just 2 years ago!! When I thought going to the gym 18 hrs a week was good enough for me. When I thought I might actually lose weight and get to my goals..Yes, I work in therapy/ rehab, I am familiar and comfortable in a gym and I DO know what I am doing when I get there!! This was before the 21 Day Fix taught me portion control and how to eat! I would work so hard and then RUIN IT ALL with the food that I was putting in my mouth!! I was over-eating, and eating all the wrong stuff. I figured, crap I work so hard, I should be able to eat what I want! It shouldnt matter, I am in the gym so much! I was so WRONG!! I am here to tell you, the struggle is real, even for those that like to workout and get their sweat on..weight loss is 80% NUTRITION...3 hrs a day in the gym 6 days a week got me muscle, yes, UNDER the fat that I was still carrying around. I wasnt losing any sizes or lbs or inches... I was also still drinking my morning Diet Coke daily... I tried a new program that launched in February and immediately lost 22 lbs in the first 21 days!! I am SO GLAD that I never gave up! I am glad that I kept going and tried something new. It has changed my life forever!! NEVER give up on changing yourself for the better, or becoming healthier. You know what, there is no secret formula, no magic pill or wrap that will melt the fat off your body for you! Yes, you have to work for it, but most of all, you need to pay attention to what crosses your lips!! And get support, get help from those around you! It is so great to have the support from others around you that are working on the same goals as you. We have a great fit family in my groups, and I LOVE and cherish everyone in them! I just wanted to say #nevergiveup, I knew eventually I was going to get to my goals because I WORKED FOR IT! Decide-commit-succeed!!
