TEACHER APPRECIATION WEEK!!! This is the week (May 5th- 9th )where we’d like our fabulous teachers to be “inundated” with thanks & appreciation for all of their dedication, long hours, expertise, and LOVE that they share with your children day in day out. There is a suggested list of daily activities for this special week. You are welcome to make modifications but please try to do something for your child’s teacher(s) each day next week. Here is how you can help: Monday May 5th – Breakfast/Lunch Day: You can bring a breakfast/lunch item(s)/for your child’s teacher(s). Tuesday May 6th - Flower Day: Have your child say “Thank You” by bringing a FLOWER from your garden or otherwise. Wednesday May 7th - Children’s Picture(s) - Have your child create (draw/paint/sketch) a picture of his/her teacher. Thursday May 8th -Treat Day – Bring a treat for your teacher(s). Friday May 9th – Parent’s Note – Personal notes from parents to their child’s teacher (s) describing how your child’s teacher(s) has/ have made a difference in your child and how much you appreciate her teaching your child. This is only a guideline. Please feel free to modify it and have fun!
