Colin Bell of the Council of British International Schools says he knows that some migrant teachers are exploited by some recruitment agencies that are just out to make money from teachers. We’ve heard about teachers landing in another country and having a contract put in front of them that is in a foreign language. They don’t know what it is. Sid Rose, a teacher from the U.K. who headed to Kazakhstan in 2012, wants agencies to do much more to inform and protect the employees they send overseas.
