THE APPOINTED TIME. There comes a time in each man’s life when he feels it’s time to make a mends. Everything he’s done in this life before will just be memories to his friends. No longer worried about what others might say his mind’s made up for sure. He’s tired of all the lies from Satan he wants God to make him pure. He starts by going to a church and listens as they preach. Then at night while all alone he ask the Holy Ghost to teach. He feels a change taking place inside his heart like ice melting in the sun. He wants to look back but now he’s afraid since he heard about God’s Son. He starts praying in his room at night hoping no one else will hear. But pretty soon he’s bold enough to life his voice up loud and clear. He starts waking up with songs in his heart not Rock-n-Roll like before. Now it’s songs of praise and power he sings them for the Lord. He takes the time to read the book his mom bought him years ago. It’s the Holy Bible he wants to read he longs to see the Streets Of Gold. He looks back at the old man he once was and trembles at the thought. He’s so thankful that he found the Lord, but was it Jesus that was lost? There’s an appointed time we all must face if we want to reign on high. It doesn’t take money just lots of prayers and the love of God in his mind. When Jesus knocks on a heart of stone right away the choice is yours. If you let Him in you’ll find a friend, if not you’ll walk on life’s troubled shores. He doesn’t want you to stop living just because you chose to let Him in. He wants only your love and praises, He wants to be your friend. F. R. Parks
