THE ARAN ISLANDS WELCOMES TODAYS BRAVE MEN OF THE SEA. I saw the brave souls who arrived on this island to meet their own challenge of the sea and point their surf boards out into the raging sea with hearts full of courage, bravery and adventure and it got me thinking, it connected my thoughts and appreciation right back to forefathers and great men of this wonderful island who put their currachs out to sea driven not only by their courage and sense of adventure but primarily the drivers were to provide and survive. This topic is very close to my heart and like this island --- it speaks the language of the heart, but in order to attempt to express it properly and do justice - I will actually blog on this topic on aran islands.ie - - itll be put up someday this week. Before I finish, one observation I can happily point out is ; Courage, Bravery and a deeply rooted sense of Adventure is in the DNA of every Island person out here and those are the very qualities that set the whole tone, mindset and attitude out here and it is one of the many reasons that sets this impossibly beautiful Island apart from the rest of the world.
