THE LORD OUR GOD The Lord has chosen us to be his people. Though a little flock, our history goes back into the dim and distant past. The God we worship is the God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob. We also look in hope to a glorious future in the kingdom of our father. Prayer: Lord, be true to your covenant, forget not the life of your poor ones for ever. Rise up, O God, and defend your cause; do not ignore the shouts of your enemies. We ask this through Christ our Lord, Amen.
