Jewish friends {Shadrach, Meshach and Abednego} refuse to worship the Babylonian god even with frights of men, and they saw GOD(i.e EMMANUEL; GOD WITH US/THEM ) in the furnace of fire. Jesus rejected the offer to be the king of the people and rule for short time on earth and the Father has highly exalted him to be the KING of Kings for all eternity. From the above, we can see that the devil and the world will always offer the children of GOD counterfeit, and it takes the patient and the discerning ones to know that the original is on the way. The world will tell Joseph, theres no difference between Potiphar and Potipherah, but the man whom the Spirit of GOD is in will tell Potiphars wife; with the eyes of the Spirit, I can see my wife to be is bearing Potiph-erah. That means theres an extra gift God has prepared for me that is greater than Potiphar, so therefore I dont need your counterfeit.Though Potiphar and Potipherah has almost same number, arrangement, spelling of letters in their names, but almost cannot kill a bird. Also using diphthongs of Literary studies, potiPHAR and FAR sounds alike at the end, and same for potiphERAH and EXTRA. So, if I foolishly choose potiPHAR, the fulfilment of my earthly and eternal destiny will be FAR from me, but if I patiently wait for potiphERAH, GOD will add an EXTRA blessing(s) to me for my faithfulness to and faith in him. Maybe Jesus would have told the world; its good you honoured me with the opportunity to be a king over you without politics and campaign, but that your royal offer is the counterfeit of the one coming on my way/after death on the cross. For if I accept it, I wont die on the cross and my Father will not exalt me to become the KING of kings and LORD of lords. Though King and KING are the nearly the same, but I am to be the KING of kings and mine is capital. Jewish friends would have said; O king Nebuchadnezzar, you have a god but we have a GOD and he has already said through the mouths of the same prophets who prophesied about our captivity in your empire years ago that, when we passeth through the waters, he shall be with us and it shall not cover us and when we pass through the fire, we shall not be burnt. Therefore, Nebuchadnezzar, though god and GOD are pronounced the same but they are not the same, so we refuse your counterfeit. I thank GOD for the above people and I see that GOD added extra to them when the time of reward came and they received the authentic. Just look at it; Joseph: God gave him Potipherahs daughter as wife for resisting Potiphars wife. Jewish friend: They were granted GODS presence for refusing to bow to the god of the perverted. Jesus:The Father graved his name as and granted him KING of kings for rejecting to be a King of the land. From the above I see three things the devil and the world uses to entice and attack true believers who are waiting for Gods earthly and eternal promise; Joseph: Fun/Fleshly lust= Perversion Jewish friends: Furnace/Flame/Fire= Persecution Jesus: Fame= Popularity/Pre-eminence/Pride Therefore, fellow Pilgrims and strangers in this world, as you wait for the fulfilment of Gods promises in your life here on earth and in eternity, be patient, content, watchful, prayerful, holy and have the gift of discernment of spirit/ Spirit of discernment. Note that; Potiphar is not the same as Potipherah, god is not the same as GOD, and king is not same as KING of kings.Resist, Reject, Refuse and Run from the world, devil and their counterfeit, deceptive, grace sapping gifts for delay is not denial. Finally, Love not the world, neither the things that are in the world. If any man love the world, the love of the Father is not in him.
