THE THREAT OF SECESSION, A DISPLAY OF CORE- NORTHERN IGORANCE: A section in Nigeria that forcefully want to hold the others down within a country named Nigeria, were threatening secession from Nigeria as if, we would beg them not to go. The press report, which reported that a traditional ruler from Adamawa, Alhaji Mustapha Aliyu, The Lamido Adamawa, threating to pull his people out of Nigeria over what he described as the “behavior of some elders who claimed to be supporters of president Jonathan” In obvious reference to controversies that have been generated over whether 75% or 2/3 support of delegates will be needed to ratify a decision, especially when it is impossible to reach a consensus, The monarch said he was surprised at the behavior of some delegates since President Goodluck Jonathan had already stipulated what can be discussed at the national conference. We, the over 50 million Yorubas trapped within the un-workable pseudo Nigeria federation do never agreed with the position of Mr president and also vehemently with no fear for any consequences ,disagreed with the monarchy and their likes within and outside the conference, who continue to hold the beliefs that ,all The Ethnic nationalities brought into the fake Nigerian geographical space, were by such ugly historical miasma, are slaves to the Nigeria superstructure and its governmental institutions and nomenclatures. We are saying a resounding no, to internal domination of our lives and natural resources. Furthermore, the monarch, Lamido therefore warned that his kingdom transcends Nigeria and he is also ready to pull out his people if the country split as a result of the action of some people at the conference We the over 50 million Yoruba choose to ignore the damming arrogance of the monarch, and would rather not dissipate our energies glorifying the neo-colonial expression of the monarch. Where was he, when all their gangsters under military rule where busy destroying the humanity of the people from the south? Where was he, when their boys in military leadership of Nigeria, abrogated the fiscal and co-operative federalism and all its attending characteristics, to turn our people into their slaves? We in the south, if the north must be told, are no longer interested in a master-servant relationships, and We believes that every section that is no longer interested in Nigeria possess the legitimate reasons to leave the union, after all, we’ ve experienced a hundred years of wasted co-habitation. Let the monarch writes to the United Nations, seeking for a referendum to join or form their new country, the south do not have any opposition to such request, and not for the monarch to warn anybody, We are prepared for the worst nightmare. The monarch wants ahead saying that “If his people are pushed to the wall, they can easily walk out of this country. He added that jingoism is not the preserve of anyone. There is a State in Cameroun called Adamawa and if I run to that place, I can easily assimilate” concluded the traditional ruler, who is one of the delegates at the national conference. The import of the above message is that, any positions that is in strong contrast to the positions of those who do want re-structuring but the preservation of their dominating status-quo and the current structure, would call the continuous unity of Nigeria into question. But before I draw my conclusions, I want those who abhor above similar sentiments of the born to rule Nigeria philosophy to justify why we from the south should also remain in the Nigeria union, if the north refuses to allow for the re-configuration of the lopsided Nigeria federation of which their boys in the military leadership of Nigeria made it so? Why must the south continue to accept the structural political and economic advantages the military rulerships of Nigeria, of whom majority of them were from the north as a basis of keeping one Nigeria together for life? The National Assembly cum Northern Assembly membership distribution, is a strong reflections of what was consciously conceived by the north to colonize the south forever, which this National Conference, which they had never wanted, would challenge, via the radically resolution of the south, to re-write their history as doctored under the fake one Nigeria mantra. To your tents o fake Nigerians.
