THIS IS A VERY IMPORTANT QUESTION FOR MY SMITH FAMILY… Because we are dealing with a genetic condition it is important for me to know some information. First let me say that the heart condition that Memphis has is only a portion of this syndrome and I need to know if any of you or our family members have any of the following. Heart issues, Extremely flexible joints, very soft skin, prone to stretch marks, flat feet, The thingy that hangs down in your throat having a funky shape like it is sort of split, joint pain, easily bruising skin, scoliosis (curvature of the spine), recurrent hernia, club foot or cleft pallet, migraines, Chiara Malformation, or the need for several stints in arteries… This will only take a few minutes and will help us so much. Cindy’s girls have some of these issues as well and we need to have a better family history for these upcoming tests that are being performed. Again because this is genetic once we have a little more information there is a genetic test that you will want to consider and especially consider for your children.
