THIS IS IMPUNITY BY THE PRESIDENCY For over a month now Dr Alimodu Sheriff joined PDP and for over a week, a report revealed that he is involved in the sponsoring of terrorism in the country. The news is expected to be shocking by a president/governor of a state and proper investigation ought to be in place, subquently prosecuted if find true. But only to see that nothing serious has been done than the investigation in process. But the outcome could be predicted with the romance, interaction of the alleged person within the corridor of power and mr president who is the commander in chief. No doubt the accomodation of former Bornu state governor Alimodu. Sheriff by Mr President could be tantamount to impunity at large. Who is decieving who? When the presidency ealier said security agencies are investigating Dr Alimodu sheriff for alleged sponsorship of Bharam by an Austrillian insurgence negotiator Rev. David .The presidency had also promised Nigerians of non interference into the matter. But then, it could be surprising to see Dr Alimodun Sheriff moving freely around Dr Goodluck Jonathan, ofcourse the law permits freedom of movt. Movt could be restricted when u are indicted or probed by security agency that becomes loittering under law. However, it will be appropriate to ask Dr Reuben Abati, Dr Doyin Okupe, Dr Goodluck Jonathan and the presidency that of what message were they sending to the security agencies under investigative mission by circulating the entourage, pictures or delegation of the accused Dr Sheriff with the presidential convoy???? Or can we also say that is a subtle signal that speaks loud to the security agency that the accused/alleged person is a friend to Mr President, hence immunity equally cover Mr Presidents friends????? May be at the end of the day, it will turn to Doctors (Ph D.) Affairs. Dr, Dr, Dr, Dr!!! Dr Reuben Abati ealier addressed press that Dr Alimodun Sherrif has a long standing business in Chad Republic. Personally, that was a clincher and shown presidencys palpable indiscretion to associated by someone alleged of financing insurgence in dis country. Have we forgottn so soon the number of lives that were killed due to this insurgence? This is sardonic, devilish and inhumane for the govt of a nation to toy with the security, protection of lives and properties of her citizenry.
