THUMBS UP: Thank you to the young man that stopped at Nerang Mall on Friday morning to help me. I had just pushed my trolley onto the escalator with my baby sitting in it, my two-year-old daughter was right behind me but freaked out at the last minute and didnt step on with me. I couldnt leave the trolley on the escalator by itself with my baby in it, and my two-year-old became very hysterical when she realised she was being left behind. I had to wait to get to the bottom so I could go back up, I was talking to her telling her that I was coming back but she continued to cry, meanwhile a young man that saw what was going on stopped to offer his help to bring her down for me, while she wouldnt let him do that he still stayed with her to talk to her and calm her down until I got back to the top. Everyone else that was walking by didnt bother to stop or offer to help ... just kept walking. So, thank you for stopping and sacrificing a little of your time to help a complete stranger. - Appreciative Gold Coast Weather & News Together mother.
