TIME TO BE GRATEFUL! As i look back at how my life has been, i cannot just but thank God for the path he has taken me through thus far. So grateful that i was born into a christian family,i thank God for New Testament Christian Mission where i got to know the Lord Jesus; I thank God for bringing good and godly friends like Olorunlogbon Juwon, Oloyede david, Awe Sunday, Olobayo Aderopo, Oyeleye Yusuf, Omotosho Segun, Adebisi Toba, Olaoye Ibukun et al across my way. They have been pivotal to the man am becoming. I like to appreciate some wonderful people God brought my way to disciple and mentor my life. Rev. M.R. Popoola stands out, a big thanks to Rev Paul Oyeleye of UMCATC, i remember my ever patient sunday school teachers, Bro Niyi Ayeni and ofcourse, Bro Sitan Chris. I also remembered some of the interdenominational fellowships in which i have drawn strenght for the journey; discipleship class with Bro Femi Babajide stands out, i cant forget Glorious Teens bible club where i learnt how to memorize Gods word. On getting to campus, unilorin christian union was a succour to my fainting soul as i drank from the oasis and was filled. Fellowship of christian agricultural students is not a place i will forget so soon. Messages and books from Daddy Gbile Akanni were spot on for me in my quest for spiritual growth; Pastor W.F. Kumuyi succeeded in fuelling my passion for a life of holiness; Daddy Segun Ariyos messages often move me to tears and take me back to my kneel. Barr Bernard Jemilohuns audacious words challenges me to dare to be different for Christ even as i learnt humility from the life of pastor E.A Adeboye. As i seek to grow daily in my relationship with God, some fellow pilgrimage has inspired my faith in God. Bro Shallom Adalumos unflinching love keeps me going; till we meet Christ face to face, i will never forget Sis Ayomide Atoyebi. My late bro Emma convinced me that there are real and sincere prophesies from God, Bro Iwayemi Abidemi taught me through his life what a believers attitude to trials should be; the twins- taiwo and kehinde Ogunlowo remains a spiritual asset to me; pastor Dare and Sister Tolu oyinloye remains to me symbols of Gods love. Bro Emma Okolies spiritual tongues geared me up to desire spiritual gifts. Bro sam owoeyes life of humility passes a great message. Ever since i became close to Engr Wale Ogunrinola, i had everything to gain. Oh, i am so grateful God made by path cross with these people of God, may God keep you all in grace. As i think about the past years, it is worthy of note that i am not where i intend to be, but i am grateful to God that i am not where i used to be-thats progress. Looking forward to a glorious future, Thanks be God!
