TIMES OF INDIA, NEW DELHI/ GURGAON, SEPTEMBER 20, 2013. CBI probe has been recommended in all the matters related to an Intelligence Unit created by Gen V K Singh by an Army C of I. A court of inquiry was held by the Army to establish the facts about the unit and expenditure accord. Gen V K Singh had created a Tech Unit within the Army’s available strength and funds (MI funds) to keep a tab on the Def ministry officials. (Maj Gen (Retd) G D Bakshi’s statement on a TV channel that creation of even small temporary unit as per the operation requirement with in the Army means has to be sanctioned by the Government is not true). The C of I must have interrogated all the officers, JCO’s and OR’s and other effected persons and their statements recorded. After going through the findings, it must have recommended for CBI Inquiry. Such C of I takes months to finish and not just in 5 to 6 days, the way some of the T V News Channels have suggested and related it to Narender Modi’s Rewari Rally where Gen VK Singh did take part to project it as central Government’s vendetta against Gen VK Singh. There is only one possibility either present Chief of Army Staff Gen Bikaram Singh is playing a mischief or Gen V K Singh has committed wrong to satisfy his insatiable greedy admissions. Ram Ram.
