TRAINING NOTICE FOR ALL FIREFIGHTERS NEEDING THEIR CERTIFICATIONS BEFORE JANUARY 1ST, 2014...Im going to start posting any upcoming fire training I hear about that is available to you all in order to help with getting your hours before the new training guidelines go into effect so here goes... 1) Thursday, Oct. 17th, Fire Streams at Wayland Fire Dept. starting at 6pm 2) Sunday, Oct. 20th, Sprinklers at Southeast Fire Dept. from 4 to 8pm 3) Friday, Oct. 25th, Forcible Entry at Wheelwright FD from 5 to 9pm 4) Sunday, Oct. 27th, Bldg. Construction at Southeast Fire Dept. from 4 to 8pm 5) Sunday, Nov. 3rd, Fire Prevention at Southeast Fire Dept. from 4 to 8pm 6) Saturday, Dec. 7th, Officers Training at Betsy Layne FD from 9am to 5pm 7) Sunday, Dec. 8th, Officers Training at Betsy Layne FD from 9am to 5pm Each of these classes will be taught by State Fire Rescue Training and we at the Floyd County Firefighters Association want to help out in any way we can to provide each of you with the knowledge of any upcoming training available to you in 2013 in order to get you certified if possible prior to the end of the year. REMEMBER TO GET A COPY OF THE TRAINING SHEETS SIGNED BY THE SFRT INSTRUCTOR IF YOU ATTEND THIS CLASS AND THEN GIVE THEM TO WHOMEVER ENTERS YOUR HOURS FOR YOUR DEPARTMENT!!!
