TRX Suspension Training... A really simple piece of equipment that I am a huge fan of is the TRX. The TRX is a fitness tool, becoming increasingly popular in gyms, that really looks like nothing more than a big band (although it doesnt stretch) with handles and loops on the ends, that uses your own body as resistance. You can set a TRX up anywhere and it is a total-body training system that allows you to do all sorts of exercises using your own body weight. Born in the Navy SEALs, this suspension training develops strength, balance, flexibility and core stability simultaneously. In my opinion, it is a great bit of kit...simple, yet because you can use do so many different exercises with it, it is massively effective! Being a qualified TRX trainer, I use this regularly in my sessions.
