TWO BLUES SMOKE WOLVES Cabramattas Ron Massey Cup team have led from the outset to record a courageous 42-34 win against Windsor in round 15 of the Ron Massey cup on Saturday evening. The two blues flew out of the blocks, racing to a 24-0 lead before the wolves fought back to reduce the two blues lead to 24-16 by halftime. Both sides traded blows in the second half and with a weight of possession, including 5 consecutive sets on the two blues line, the wolves had every right to finish the stronger and snatch an unlikely victory, however the blue wall stayed strong and repelled everything that was thrown at them to record their 7th win of the season and surge back into the top 8. We couldnt have started any better, our completions were great and we were rolling through our sets making good metres and finishing in good areas, said Two Blues Coach Jason Williams. We lost our composure for a while there and allowed them back into the game, but to finish the way we did under the pressure we were enduring, is very very pleasing, added Williams. Another pleasing aspect was the form of superstar fullback Shannon Gallant who helped himself to four tries, while prop Ray Moujali was almost unstoppable in his first game back from a 6 game suspension, as was Luke Lavendar in his first RMC game of the year and Forwards Maximillion Napa, Adrian Haangana and Eni Folau who made a heap of metres with the ball. Next week the two blues have a tough road trip up the F1 to EDSACC Oval to take on 2013 Grandfinalists The Entrance Tigers on Sunday at 6pm. Tries – Shannon Gallant (4), Ray Moujali, Bobbie Goulding, Maximillion Napa. Goals – Bobbie Goulding 7 from 7.
