Talked to Jelle de Roos this morning on SKYPE.... He is getting ready to buy his plane tickets for the event. If Anyone is flying in and wants to be picked up, heres the scoop. If you want to fly into Seattle on Augs. 15th. - 16th. - 17th. I can pick you up on those days. If before those days, and want a ride. Fly into Portland. A list of what you should bring if you can: Plenty of water. Tent. Sleeping Bag. Some wood for the fire. Shorts and jeans. Maybe a couple of sweaters or a fleece type jacket. (Gets warm even up there in Augs. Also can get cold at night) Rain gear... You never know in that area. Sunblock. Food. (Whatever you want) Couple of garbage bags. A knife. (Always handy) Plastic forks, knifes, spoons. Some first aid supplies. A lighter. Musical instrument. (If you play anything) A thick blanket or padding. A chair. Camera. (Video or digital) Note pad. Drawing supplies. A towel. Hand soap. Wash cloth. Lantern and or a flashlight. (The river is further down fro camp. Its about a 3 to 5 mile drive) Toilet paper.... (Well dig a NICE bathroom out.lol... Ways to do it were it wont be awful. And will be very private. Might even get a portable bathroom) Feel free to add whatever else you might want to bring. Also..... We might want to talk about a shuttle from town into the mountains. Its about 30 or 40 miles away. ANY car can make it to this location. Its not super rough. Its just kind of scary in some places. (Couple of 1000 + drop offs you drive by)
