Talked to my son-in-law today and he told me the farmers we lease from thinks one of our big bucks we had pics of early got killed by a guy leasing a neighboring farm!! The worst part about it is they just ride around on 4 wheelers and hope to see something!! It kind of makes me sick to my stomach to know how hard we try to let deer walk to grow and the work you put in hoping it will eventually pay off only to have this kind of stuff happen!! I know high fences get a bad rap because of the smaller fenced in places but man at least the ones that do it right and are large enough to make it a real hunt dont have to worry about this kind of crap!! Ok I guess Im done ranting now and I can at least feel good that even if my buck this year wasnt my best buck ever at least I actually hunted him I didnt ride around on a 4 wheeler or let somebody else do all the work and shoot him and say oh what a great hunter I am!! Just hate seeing a great buck like that killed like that!! Its a shame!!
