Talking with my friend Drew about love and being in love. And I had a profound moment. This is all me. And what I feel like being in love is. Love is like a cave. Have you seen caves? The outside makes it look interesting; beautiful, even. The deeper you go into the cave.. The more twists, turns, and drops.. Theres pointy shit on the ground and ceilings..you can get hurt so easily.. You can get lost so easily. And it gets darker and scarier.. And you dont know whats waiting at the end. If there is an end! There could be a cavern room filled with diamonds on the walls, it glitters and shines, almost self-luminescent. ...or you reach a dark end, nothing there but a flooded room that leads to your doom. My point is that love is terrifying. Even with potential for great rewards... Theres also potential for pain and anguish.. You can get hurt, lost, or end up in the dead end where you just have to turn around and try another cave.. Im ridiculously profound at 3:30 AM, lacking sleep, and with a migraine pounding through the back of my skull.
