Taraba: Ag. Governor Arrives Jalingo From Overseas Visit Taraba State Acting Governor Alhaji Garba Umar has arrived Jalingo the State capital this evening after a successful trip to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia for a lesser Hajj. Alhaji Garba Umar who made a stop over at Abuja, Federal Capital Territory was received at the Jalingo city gate by members of his cabinet, top government functionaries and some residents of Jalingo. Unconfirmed reports indicated that the Ag. Governor was hospitalized during the trip to undergo bladder related surgery but his close allies refuted the report. Alhaji Garba is expected to resume office on Monday and will visit Kano State during the week to commiserate with government and people of Kano over the demise of Kano monarch Alhaji Ado Abdullahi Bayero and also to congratulate the new Emir Mallam Sanusi Lamido Sanusi.
