Weather Situation A ridge of high pressure just east of Tasmania will move slowly eastwards tonight and during Wednesday, with a north to northwesterly flow to develop across Tasmania, while a cold front will pass south of the state late Wednesday. The ridge will remain stationary over the Tasman Sea during Thursday before weakening slightly during Friday allowing a cold front to clip the south of Tasmania.
