Still president in 1998 when he stepped aside for Thabo Mbeki at 80 years. 4. President Peter Mutharika of Malawi was 74 when he was sworn-in on 31st May 2014. He will be president till 2019 at 79 years. 5. President Alpha Conde of Guinea is now 76 years old. He was sworn-in on December 2011at 72 years old. 6. President Jose Eduardo Dos Santos of Angola is 72 years old today. He will be president till 2020 at 78 years. 7. President Abde Boutefilka of Algeria is 77 years old, and will be president till 2020 at 83 years old. 8. President Alasnne Quattara of Cote DIvoire was 72 years old in 2012, and will be president till 2016 at 76 years old. 9. Yoweri Museveni of Uganda has been president since 1985.
