Teahjay Admits Flogging Lawmaker: Begs For Mercy, But… The Superintendent of Sinoe County, J. Milton Teahjay has openly admitted to attacking and assaulting his fellow kinsman, Sinoe County Representative, Matthew Zarzar. Representative Zarzar last week complained Superintendent Teahjay of physically attacking him in the county after he (Zarzar) appeared on a local radio, Voice of Sinoe, to exposed Teahjay alleged involvement in the mismanagement of development funds in the county. The communication from the Sinoe lawmaker claimed the attention of plenary of the House and invited the superintendent to give reason for his action against their colleague. At the hearing on Tuesday, July 16, Teahjay admitted to the action meted out against Rep. Zarzar and begged the lawmakers to pardon him. He also informed the plenary that he was not prepared to present documentary reports on the expenditure of development funds, especially those from the forestry sector of the county. Meanwhile, the House of Representatives Tuesday voted to reschedule the appearance of the Superintendent this Thursday, to afford him time to prepare to address that body. He was also asked to take along with him a legal counsel.
