Technology for real Yu-Gi-Oh duel disks exists : In the YGO series they duel useing giant arm devices called duel disks, when they play cards the disks project holograms of monsters and card effects. Now most people that watch the series think this tech wont exist for years to come. Thats where they are wrong, both aspects of the technology does exist.(but will ofcourse take time for them to put together and plan a release) #1. The card scanning technology, most people should know about the Duel Terminals that have been out for awhile now, they cost a dollar to play and they give you a card each time that can be used to scan on the scanner and use it in game. The 3D hologram technology, it involves the projection of images onto a see through screen and is currently to my knowledge being used by the sensation known as Vocloids(synthetic singers that are completely controlled by the creators).
