Don Fidelis is a bright upcoming lyricist for the future .He understands Hip-Hop well without breaking rules .Those that listen to Lupe Fiasco type of music shouldn’t have much problems to listen to him. Don Fidelis who is competing at the Zambia Dream show released a track “Injustice”. He featured on the UNWTO mixtape with the song “Light At The End Of Tunnel” which was organized by The Ministry Of Tourism with the help from The Holstar. 8. Chef 187. Arguably the best vernacular emcee finds himself here despite not having his own songs. Chef 187’s position here mainly lies on the features he made on Al Kan-I’s Kwacha and Shimasta’s Shimpundu. Gospel Rapper Jo-Z Jay whose verses depend much on smart Metaphors and punchlines. “I have seen people getting delivered no addresses” is one of the reasons why he is here.That line come from the joint song “Soldier In”, a song that topped September releases. 3.Alpha Romeo. Alpha Romeo has kept his style of speaking the truth despite this swag dominated era appreciated by teens. Alpha dropped “Why” which had a strong and positive message. Alpha Romeo may have lost the impact he once had due to punchline oriented songs but hasn’t lost the Hip-Hop credibility. 2.Young O .The most consistent Copperbelt underground emcee signed to 2Raw had two songs on ZHHJ’s top ten September releases.. The Revival which can be regarded as one of the best collaborative Zed mixtapes gave him chance to show how lyrical he can be but this year his lyrical prowess have declined. Despite that,he has kept trying to get back his form. He was the only one on the list to have two songs on ZHHJ’s top ten songs released in September. Young O has released a mixtape this month which we should be able to share. 1.Slap Dee .Legend Slap D takes the number one spot despite his album having not many Hip-Hop songs. Two-thirds of the album was dominated by Dance sounds. Out of 17 songs only seven can be said as strictly Hip-Hop songs. This may be the worst rated album done by Slap D sonically, but those few Hip-Hop tracks were enough for the panel to give him the crown for September.Mwila Musonda was the hottest rapper for September.
