Tensions are high in Nevada right now as the U.S. government has staged an armed siege against a local rancher whose ancestors have been running cattle on the land since the 1870s. The federal BLM was created in 1946, and in the 1990s, it claimed power over the same land being used by the Bundy family to run cattle. Now the feds have surrounded the ranch with 200 armed men, helicopters and snipers, and the feds are demanding $1 million from the Bundy family while stealing their cattle and auctioning them all off. The Nevada state Governor is outraged, and a U.S. Senator for the state of Nevada has already blasted the BLM for its out-of-control tyranny against a rancher.
