Terry has to have the head of his bed raised for the rest of his life since his esophagus is so short. So I ordered some nice wooden ones with a steel rod in the center!! Our bed lifters arrived and I went right to work. I used the Jeep car jack to lift the bed frame and slid the lifters into place. I like it. And I want to thank Joanne Hesser-James for the advice of lifters over an adjustable bed. With lifters, the weight of your upper body doesnt place extra pressure on the hips and one can sleep on their side!!!
