Testimonial from member-owner Margot Parrot (also incredible volunteer and egg-supplier!): When Bob and I first moved to the North Quabbin last year, we discovered the Coop and started buying a few items such as bagels and honey. Before long we were buying a LOT of items because of the great quality and local sourcing! So we joined and I started volunteering. We are excited about the expansion because we would like all our food to be as good as the limited number of items now available at the Coop. It is important to us to have organic produce, humanely raised animal products, and non-animal tested cleaning items. We also enjoy supplying the Coop with eggs from our growing flock of happy chickens. We have met many like-minded people since we joined the Coop and we look forward to having a centrally located meeting place for those of us who care about creating a sustainable community.
