Thank you Royals, for making me feel like a kid again. Thank you Royals, for allowing MY kids to experience this magical ride. Of course I want a win .... But to be where you are, when NOBODY but the fans gave you a chance .... Is just mind blowing. You are a small market team that doesnt BUY championships, and I truly respect that. That shows dedication and a willingness to play as a team, and believing that nothing is impossible. I root for the underdog, and respect the teams that still have that little boy in them .... The players that get excited about getting that first playoff hit, or first World Series double. You have made Royals fans proud .... Win or lose .... This season has been terrific, and I wont be disappointed if the outcome sways the Giants way. I will be beyond ecstatic if you guys win ..... But always know .... That Ive watched you from day one for years, and not just because you won the ALDS AND ALCS, and are now in the BIG SHOW. Ive been a fan since the 70s, with Amos Otis, Dennis Leonard, Frank and George .... Ive watched Tartabull and Balboni, Jermaine Dye, And Larry Gura ..... Ive seen the Pine Tar incident with Brett. Ive watched us face Goose Gossage. I personally witnessed Brian Mcrae get his first MLB hit, Ive seen Hal McRae as a player and a manager. Ive listened to you on AM TRANSISTOR radio, powered by a 9 volt battery in my pocket. I have been a LOYAL ROYAL, and a proud one at that. GIVE EM HELL BOYS. This is the biggest game of your life!
