Thank you all for the super kind words about our new Birth and Wellness Center coming in May. We are so excited to serve the women and families of our area in this way. A few details now: we will continue to offer more products, classes and lactation services in our new (much larger) space right behind where we are now. Many birth centers employ several midwives who take turns being on call. We will be giving local out-of-hospital midwives the opportunity to have privileges at our center, meaning you deliver with the midwives you choose to provide your care. For those of you interested, we do already have a midwife on board who can begin seeing you before the center opens (contact information in the comments). We will also have an exam room available and plan to provide other adjunct services there. Much more news in the coming weeks, we just couldnt stay quiet any longer.
