Thank you everyone for all the prayers please keep them coming. Xena is being kept overnight for Observation & quarantine. The skin issue isnt determined yet. She is negative for mange, demadex and ring worm. She has anemia and a high grade heart murmur. Parvo isnt determined yet either. This young girl has endured pure hell in her tiny young 2 month old life. These conditions are not something that happened a week ago. Poor thing looked moth eaten. :( She was dumped at a garage sale a woman and her son Approach the people having the sale asking if anyone wanted her then just sat her down and walked away. The family that was left with the dog posted her on some kind of a Facebook Swapmeet page asking for anyone to help take her. When we arrived she was laying in a cardboard box nearly lifeless The lady wrapped her in baby clothing To try to keep her warm and she had labored breathing. Her belly is full of worms. She has constipation. People make me absolutely sick! It hurts my heart so much to see how precious lives like this who did not ask to be born are discarded like trash. She is going to be taken in by passion for pitties rescue And we already have Foster coming up in place. She needs to remain quarantined for 2 weeks minimum at the fosters home. A fund will be set up tomorrow for anyone who would like to donate to her care. Please continue to pray for sweet little Xena. She mustered up enough little spunkiness to shake her little tiny tail. Her face looks like little Benjamin buttons. Shes at least safe out of the hell she came from. My thought is where are her litter mates and did they even survive :( She has a very sweet temperament. She totally reminds me a tiny Manders. She had these eyes that just looked like theyve seen nothing good until tonight.
