Thank you for expressing interest in the church property at 1250 Husky Trail in Warsaw, formerly the Mennonite Church of Warsaw or North Pointe Fellowship. At this point, even with no more advertising than the "for sale" sign out front, more than a dozen parties have expressed interest in purchasing the property. We just received the appraisal report, an excerpt of which I would like to share with you: Church Building with 4.20 acres - $260,000 to $295,000 Land Value after Demolition of Church Building - $400,000 Yes, you read that right. The property would sell for significantly more if the church building were not there. But commercial development is not what we feel would be the best use of the property. It was the stated preference of the closing congregation that the property remain in use as a church. We at the conference agree. May the Spirit and love of God be manifest to all as we go through this process together.
