Thank you ladies and gentlemen for all of the support. I wish all of you the best and I am so excited for all of your soldiers and the changes they have coming up. Most of you know that our soldier is with someone that will ruin her goals and break her heart and because of our view of this persons habits, our soldier hasnt spoken to us in over a month and has closed off relationships with ALL of her family to be with this person. She seems to have lost her heart too as family members have been sick, had surgery and birthdays and not even a like has been hit, call, text or comment and Im told she is on facebook daily. That is not how you treat family. And only proves that she had to change for the worse to be with this person and affirms that we think. So in the last month we have chosen to let go and let her live her life and hope she doesnt get hurt . Be some butterfly she said she needs to be...lol. In that, we have pulled away from being Army Strong and life has moved on. We have three little ones still at home that need us focused and happy. And we have succeeded in letting go and part of that is we have no idea what is going on in her army career or life....and we are moving forward and not dwelling on her lack of judgement. I tried to hang in here as long as I could and be supportive, but after living 18 years being everything to her and being thrown away for a piece of trash...is a hurt she will never be able to take back. So thank you all and I wish you all the best of luck with your soldiers. We are still pro-military family....so hugs to everyone! But our journey is done. She signed for 6 years and we all know how long distance relationships that are rocky and not based on trust end up...but she has to learn this on her own. Letting go is hard, but necessary at some point. :)
