Thanks for the add! so, a little bit about myself, Im a collector of all things heavy, wore out, odd and usually unwanted by most sane people... I have in my collection as of now but subject to change, a 1947 2N ford tractor (war tractor), a 1954 Caterpillar D4-7U bulldozer bought new and put in a shed only has 2500hr, a 1956 Allis Chalmers HD6 bulldozer, and finally, this 1944 John Deere A. Guy said it didnt run, brought it home put gas in it and after about 2 hours of silent staring, as I know absolutely NOTHING about John Deere,,,, I finally grabbed ahold of the round thing I believe goes round and round and gave it all I got, (yes the flywheel I have a vary basic idea how they work) and it took rite off. I noticed the clutch pulley has some slop when not running and the clutch is locked in, I was told the clutch driver is bad. Im not a john Deere guy, this is the first JD I have even been around, so much help would be appreciated! Thanks! Big D (dusty)
