The breakfast includes watered down eggs that obviously come from a carton and not fresh eggs. Bread was stale and juice was cheap and sugary. The rooms are sufficient and nice enough though, same with the bathroom. Bed hurt my back after 2 nights. Staff was helpful and courteous. Even with the great price I got on the 3 nights here, I am questioning the value. Dear DrFerrer, I’m glad you post a comment like this, because you offer me the way to hit back at the several untruths you wrote and explain to all readers our reasons. Regarding the Wi-Fi to slow, I’m sorry for the inconvenience but high season like at time, the hotel is fully booked and more than 300 Guest connected in the same time could slow down the service. Anyway I’d point out we put at Guest’s disposal the best Wi-Fi service the Communication companies have available for this area! To avoid this kind of problem we put at disposal the High Speed Premium WI-FI on charge. Do not forget, recently have been some drawbacks due to the bad weather that has hit Rome therefore nothing can be attributed to a lack of the Hotel. Regarding the Hot American Buffet Breakfast you dislike, please note other Guests wrote it is even better the breakfast served in the USA, thus I’m totally confident in the top service we provide for free that is included in each room rate. Mostly of our loyal Customers are telling us the Breakfast Buffet is at the same level of a 5 stars hotel! The Buffet Breakfast offers the possibility to choose among over 100 products, many of them freshly home made as pastries, season fruit gateaux, candied or dried fruit cakes and croissants. Oven cooked bacon, salami, turkey ham, varied of cheese, hot scramble eggs, fruit salad, variety of cereals, muesli, fruit - flavored yoghurt, jams, butter, honey, creamy chocolate, fruit juices, fresh fruits, sorted of bread, biscuits, American and barley coffee, decaf, hot chocolate drink, variety of teas, full fat and skimmed milk. The plain yoghurt is stocked in a self refrigerated machine with dispenser located on top of the buffet desk to serve it always at the better temperature. Regarding the cheap and sugary Juices, I’d remarks they comes from a very famous Italian Company “San Pellegrino” thus are the best quality you can find on the market. The scrambled eggs are prepared every morning from more than 100 fresh eggs by the Chef! Please note what you wrote about the bed condition didn’t find me at one with you because all the rooms have been renovated at the end of 2012 and are fully furnished with brand new sommiers and anatomical mattresses, real eiderdown, 2 graduated compression pillows per person. All the rooms are equipped with flat 32”TV set with 6 free of charge Sky channel, pay tv, direct dial telephone and hairdryer. In the bathrooms you can find liquid soap dispensers, located at the toilettes and showers. I’d like to remind our Hotel belongs to the Holiday Inn Express Brand (3 stars rating): the limited service brand with the InterContinental Hotels Group. It means we guarantee the same high standard level the 4 stars brand Holiday Inn adding an exceptional breakfast buffet always in rate included but without frills. This allow us to be very competitive in price range with an excellent comparison price/service.
