Thanks to Norma for the challenge, I had a loooooooooong week and then I had to think about it. So my top 10 books down the years as follows: 1. The Narnia Chronicles (see cheating already there were a few of them) my favourite books as a kid. By C.S. Lewis. 2. A Childs Garden of Verses by Robert Louis Stephenson - I was a very soppy kid - not much has changed really. 3. The Three Investigator Series by Alfred Hitchcock, loved these, especially their hideout in a trailer underneath a wreckers yard. 3. Venetia by Georgette Heyer - beautiful, witty heroine, swoon-makingly handsome rake, excellent repartee its an old story, I still love it, favourite teen book. 4. The Fountainhead by Ayn Rand it was completely at odds with my personal philosophy of complete Marxism in my early twenties but he was an architect. 5. W. B. Yeats - Collected Poems, on my third copy of it. 6. Mort by Terry Pratchett (well anything by Terry Pratchett but Mort is my favourite). Funny, its just very, very funny. 7. The Power of One by Bryce Courtney, its a big story with all the good stuff in it, classic. I have your brother to thank for that one Norma. 8. Joli Blons Bounce - James Lee Burke, a favourite writer. 9. The Ocean at the End of the Lane - Neil Gaiman, lovely book, whimsical and beautiful. 10. Life is a Dream: 40 years reading poems - Paul Durcan. Amazing book, an Irish life, topical, political, funny, very emotional, and poetry. Nominating some other readers...Siobhan, Thomas and Mikael. Enjoy, its a fun exercise xxx
