Thankyou for making mention of my fathers passing away. just to add a few more details, he was of late the old bugger yelling from the scoreboard at all games he worked on the scoreboard. but his history with the club goes back 42 years, when I first started playing with he Gullies as an under 9. In those 42 years he has held many many roles: trainer for A and B grades, Manager A and B grades. Coach C grade, barmen, Trainer for all my 8 junior years in the team I played in. Committee man,and Historian on the footy club as well as a loyal supporter and bloody rowdy scoreboard attendant.He will be missed by many as well as my mum and me his son Damian. so thats a little history of Grumpy Gordon Gow-Smith and the Tea Tree Gully Football Club.
